gdecrypt software package provides GUI for mapping/mounting and creating encrypted volumes, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gdecrypt
gdecrypt is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gdecrypt package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gdecrypt *
You will get with gdecrypt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
